Andressa Urach

Andressa began her relationship with Tiago around the age of 15; they were both students in high school. The couple moved in after three months. The couple was blessed with an unmarried baby boy, Arthur Urach Costa born on May 19th, 2005. Following divorce, the couple split in 2008 after 6 years of being together. Andressa moved in together with their son in her mother's place. Then, after six-month separation she was fired and decided to take her son to his father, in hopes of pursuing an opportunity and opportunities in Sao Paulo. Being vain driven, ambitious and a self-confident woman, the principal motive for her leaving her home in the South for Sao Paulo, was in an attempt to achieve fame and wealth. Andressa Urach describes in her book Morri Para Viver how she experienced inflicted sexual abuse when she was a kid. She was a victim from age 2 to eight years of sexual abuse from her grandfather who was adopted by her. Andressa only managed to escape the abuse due to Andressa's foster mother caught the perpetrators in the act. Andressa went back to live at home with her mother and didn't realize the fact that Andressa was a victim of sexual abuse until she wrote her memoir. The famous woman said in interviews that she achieved what, for her, would have been impossible prior to her spiritual transformation: forgiving her abusive partner. The most difficult decisions in my life when I contacted the man who sexually assaulted me. The choice was not easy. It was not easy. After numerous prayers and fasting days, I told him over the phone I was sorry for him. I did not feel guilty and asked his forgiveness. In no way did I justify my actions, I simply asked for forgiveness. Mariste Urach describes in a video interview with Globo, what she was feeling after learning of the abuse her daughter had been subjected to. Urach travelled to Rio Grande do Suul's interior to find the perpetrator and take out her anger.
