Kelly Michelle Stables born in St. Louis Missouri, where she performs in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia granted her a degree cum laude in Theatre and Communication. Following her move into Los Angeles, she became engaged in theater as she began performing and choreographing roles for more than twenty-one musicals and plays including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title performances in the prize-winning Storybook Theatre. As she continued to learn improvisation with The Groundlings and becoming a part of the company at Theatre West Kelly also started landing roles on television and in film. She has a unique voice, and her petite stature lets her perform a range of roles. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's evil Samara from The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men.
