In addition, Ali also made her impression on the television screens. Ali was featured in numerous TV series, including A Man Called Hawk, Wally and the Valentines, The Cosby Show, Getting By Do You Afraid of the Dark?, Kidz In the Wood, Living Single, In the House, and numerous others. Ali's breakthrough was in 1990 and Ali created Ashley Banks a reality in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The series, with Will Smith as the star it was a huge hit. It was the most watched show on NBC with a 12th place rating among all shows between 1990 and 1992. The show was nominated for two Golden Globes.
